Annual Santa Net Dec 15th 2018

Posted: December 5, 2018 in Uncategorized

It’s that time of the year again! We’re pointing our antenna’s toward the North Pole to get a few moments on the air with Santa himself! He’ll be joining us on our nightly net on December 15th starting at 7PM and going until 8:45PM. The frequency is 145.230 (-) t118.8 on the W4BFB repeater. Gather up the children and have them talk to Santa during this special net. Adults, ask Santa for that new gear you’ve been wanting! He’s a busy man this time of year getting ready for the big night, so we won’t get this chance again until next year, so don’t miss out!  Merry Christmas from the Piedmont Spotter Group.

This weekend (December 8-9) brings our region it’s first real threat of winter weather. While we are still 6 days out, and a lot of things can change between now and then, it’s a good time to go over your winter weather readiness plans.
